In recent years, FIFA has benefited from significant changes. Tactical Defense Player of the Impact Engine, First Touch: all advanced range rewriting the basic principles. But FIFA 14 is not really a great big feature. It feels more like a consolidation of reinvention - an opportunity to consolidate what has already been put down with success. Changes this year are smaller, thinner, but to bring out the best in FIFA, which is already a fantastic experience. This time is more aggressive, more polished, and come back throughout the season.
Initially, most of the innovations of FIFA 14 shows surface. Players transferring their weight in a convincing way, when suddenly change direction, have a sense of momentum, once built for speed, and stroke the ball with the inside and the outside start when rotated or cut inside of. It looks great, making the game much more attractive appearance, but also shapes the overall style of the game.
Given the improvements in animation, it is disappointing that the overall graphics have not improved though. On the ground, it looks like it has been in recent years, and is about to become obsolete. That said, the overall presentation continues to improve. The pre-match build-up is brilliantly directed, did an excellent job of mimicking the spectacle and glamor is synonymous with modern sports broadcasts.
Improved animation has a deeper impact. Dribbling FIFA has something of a work in progress, gradually improving in recent years, but the precision movement (this is how EA said the new animation system) really feels like the missing piece of this puzzle. It is more liberated and expressive than ever. You can really grate on players in the wings, the ball more distance traffic, run by feel much faster and volatile. Shown works well in conjunction with the new ability to protect the feet by hand, using the left trigger or L2. This helps you to keep possession in key situations - if the opposition tries to pick your pocket, you can get an arm to ward. But I found myself using most productive attack the situation, since it is ideal for converting defenders when darkness to the point.
