Bunch of Heroes is basically a two-masted shooter for the PC. Although a gamepad seems to be supported (so, twin-sticks), I play with the standard keyboard and mouse set-up (as they do not have a gamepad). Using this configuration, players use the mouse to guide the direction you want to shoot and move your character with a normal WASD allocation.The "story" for the game simply provides a backdrop for the game. The aliens have invaded, make zombies, and depend on our group of rag-tag heroes to do things. Players can choose from an old communist, the cigar thrower, a martial artist that hadoukens, a solid football player, or a skinny guy calling air strikes. The game is divided into three seasons, each with three chapters. The good news is that these chapters are unlocked from the start, so you can switch to any combination of campaign / chapter to read.Combat is what one would expect from a two-masted shooter. Players cut zombies or aliens with your standard weapon (with unlimited ammo) or special weapons boxes full of waste in the falling environment. These boxes fall from the sky from time to time into their spawning points, to ensure that players have a good supply of flamethrowers,
rifles, machine guns, frozen rays, etc. These boxes allow duplicate for each player in the game canyons is a nice touch. Defeated enemies have the option of dropping health packs, which are consumed automatically or on fragments. It takes about 7 or more of these fragments to improve the special abilities of the players.Special abilities vary from character to character, but probably not as much as one would expect. I enjoyed the aesthetics of the game, some of the canons were really fun, and definitely were a couple of highlights in the game (killing hordes and hordes of chicken zombies and staying nesting in their chicken coops was definitely a explosion).
