The Asskickers not without flaws, but as a first version did not expect perfection. Before entering your problems, let's take a look at some of the things that would be nice for this first outing.
This beat-em-up style game just looks, especially when it comes to PC and Mac releases. I remembered some of the games we used to play in the playroom child, in my humble opinion, it is always a good thing; which has cartoon sound boring, grunts and classic kicks, and appropriate tone actually vibrates the backspace adds AGO going to. It also offers a cooperative mode that opens new dialogues and additional double powerful attacks, which was quite fun to try.
Once you start to get into the game, however, many problems arise frustrating. At the start of the game, I opened the menu and choose to play single-player campaign that brought a box where I could choose my character, but I could not find a way to change the character (later I realized that it was "A" and "D" to choose between them.
Once the game starts he had just left the fight, which will be good if you knew nothing about the control system. He had to leave the game and go to the Options menu to find them. None of these things are so big problem, but the lack of a level tutorial or training is lost, and the supervision foreshadowed what was coming.

I finally got to play the game and was having a decent time reminiscing when I realized (and this is my biggest problem with all Asskickers), there is absolutely no way to block. If you are going to hit, just take it. What is worse is that the game will not save to fully complete a level, so you really need to watch your health and collect power-ups from the side of the screen. At the second level, the player with the character he used was almost impossible. I had to change the character who had the highest hardness and resistance to even get to level three.
Level three it almost took an hour and a half to complete, simply because they had to start again ... five times in "Easy". The most frustrating thing is that point on me died was the boss in the head at every level. Well "Derr" we could say - "Of course the boss is what I came to ask." If you die in the head, do not make the fight against the boss - Instead of going all the way to the top of the level and do it again. This was the cause of more than eighteen years, "closes anger" during my game inside. During the transition from level to level my character said "Oh, not again," and I thought exactly the same.
This game seems to be playing more cooperative, as we found the easy way to cooperative operation is actually less difficult than one player. Cooperative also allows a player to complete the level, if the other dies on the road, allowing much less anger and frustration about the game. Checks for cooperative operation, however, is not the most friendly player. Since you are pressing two people on a keyboard, which can be very narrow. However, I can say, I had much more fun to play with a friend.
Overall I would only buy this game if you intend to play with a friend, or if you really like this classic style game. Along with the problems mentioned during my play through I found many mistakes that really could become milder had pushed the release date back a bit. If you plan to play in single player, you are ready to take again and again disappointed because I can guarantee that will happen.
In addition to these complaints, which does a great job of showing the style of beat-em-up old school game, and I have to give props Games to release a game like this before. I have lost this style of play for some time, and it was nice to see. If the $ 14.99 high price worth it is ultimately for you to decide.
